(TROOP HOUSING)

MCREE BARRACKS is Fort Belvoir’s Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Facility. It consists of 6 buildings with 404 rooms and seven laundry / day rooms. Located on the North Post, it is convenient to the Dining Facility, PX and Concessions, Woods Theater, Fitness Centers, Swimming Pools and the Post Chapel.

Arriving personnel should first process in to their Unit and the Welcome Center in Building 213, 20th Street before reporting to the Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Office located in building 2105A, 9001 GUNSTON ROAD.

Unaccompanied personnel arriving after duty hours and on the weekend can report to the Military Police station located on Abbot Road for a temporary room. New arrivals using this service must report to the Unaccompanied Personnel Housing office located in building 2105A by 0900 on the next duty day.

Currently all personnel authorized BAQ at the without dependent rate in the Pay Grade of E5 and below are required to live in the Barracks.
