| Information security (INFOSEC) is a system established to protect information, if subjected to unauthorized disclosure, could reasonably be expected to cause damage to the national security. This section contains information, policy, regulations and other guidance regarding the classification, downgrading, declassification, transmission, transportation, and safekeeping of information requiring protection in the interest of national security. |
