Purpose: |
|||||||||||
The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) non-clinical services are comprehensive programs, which combine Prevention and Education, Employee Assistance, Urinalysis Drug Testing Programs. The main purpose is to eliminate alcohol and/or other drugs abuse. The Prevention and Education Program provides current substance abuse prevention information for all members of the Fort Belvoir Community. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) assists DA civilian supervisors and their employees, to include retirees, and both active duty and eligible civilian family members, with short term counseling with job related, personal and relationship problems. The Urinalysis Drug Testing Program is designed to deter illicit drug abuse and misuse of prescribed medication. |
