KISS concert for veterans

The rock band KISS performs a free concert in Bristow, Va., for 1,000 area veterans. This concert is exclusively for veterans in the metro area. The concert is July 19 at Jiffy Lube Live, 7800 Cellar Door Drive, Bristow, Va.

Interested veterans can go go to www.regonline.com/kiss and enter password KISS (all caps) to register for their free ticket. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

FBCH hosts back-to-school health rodeos

Fort Belvoir Community Hospital hosts two more back-to-school health rodeos, July 25 and Aug. 15. The rodeos are designed to allow parents to get their children their annual school physical, update immunizations and update authorized medication forms, without having to make a regular clinic appointment. Healthcare providers from the Pediatrics and Family Medicine clinics host the rodeo.
